Our Mission
To equip believers to be faithful servants of our Lord Jesus Christ and stewards of the mysteries of God’s marvelous gospel of free grace.
(1 Corinthians 4:1-2; Ephesians 4:11-13; 2 Timothy 2:15)
Our Vision
A thriving community of believers deeply rooted in Scripture, passionately glorifying God, and impacting the world with the Gospel.
(Matthew 28:19-20; 2 Timothy 3:16-17; 1 Peter 4:11)
Welcome
The Bible describes a dynamic, grass-roots spiriutal community that meets in various places, on various days, and at various times. These organic fellowships would meet regularly to hear the apostles’ teachings, share meals and radical hospitality, pray for one another, and praise Jesus Christ.
(Acts 2:42-47 and Ephesians 4:15-16)
Grace Underground Fellowship is an organic church in Clarksville, Tennessee. We believe that healthy spiritual growth happens in genuine Christ-centered friendships where we can give and receive God’s love through His grace and truth.
(1 Corinthians 12:11-25 and Romans 12)

Why An Itinerary?
We provide a consistent order of service so that everyone knows what to expect. A predictable service helps reduce anxiety, supports meaningful participation for neurodivergent individuals, and reflects our commitment to creating a supportive and accessible fellowship environment for all.
-
Inclusion isn't about making neurodivergent individuals change their behavior to fit a traditional church structure; it's about altering the environment to accept them as they are. A scheduled and predictable meeting means an individual does not have to expend all their energy trying to camouflage or mask their sensory needs to fit shifting environments. They can show up confidently, knowing exactly what the environment expects of them.
-
When a service is structured and repeatable, it stops being an overwhelming event that a neurodivergent person merely "endures" or visits once. Instead, the predictability transforms the church into a reliable community space where they can actively participate, build relationships, and feel a genuine sense of ownership over their place in church meeting.
-
Spontaneous, fast-moving, or poorly communicated service shifts make it incredibly difficult for a neurodivergent person to volunteer. A highly structured, repeatable format provides clear, defined boundaries and roles, setting up neurodivergent believers to successfully lead ministries, greet, or handle logistics.
-
When a program changes without warning, the brain shifts into a hyper-vigilant state of survival. By maintaining a repeatable schedule, the church removes the background anxiety of the unknown, freeing up cognitive space so that neurodivergent believers can focus on the actual message, the theology, and their personal spiriutal growth journey.
-
When a church meeting is chaotic or unpredictable, caregivers are placed on high alert, constantly anticipating meltdowns or negative judgments from other congregants. A structured, predictable routine allows the entire family to lower their guard, knowing they can safely navigate the service together without anxiety-inducing surprises.
